Getting Started with Changepoint PPM

You have made the commitment and chosen Changepoint PPM solution to achieve real-time alignment of strategy, planning, and work management. Now let’s get started on the right foot.

Our Customer Enablement team engages at the onset of all implementations, large or small, and offers guidance on implementation strategies, and shares best practices from other engagements. A Delivery Consultant will be there working with you to understand your unique processes and ensure they are mapped and configured to the software, teams are trained, and you’re set up for your launch and go-live. We have a 6-step procedure in place to make the transition go as rapidly and smoothly as possible.

Inception

Objective: Client understands the methodology and introduced to primary contacts. (1 hour)

Your Delivery Consultant will contact you to provide you with the login credentials to access your environment and schedule a business discovery meeting.

·         Key implementation team identified

·         Review goals, objectives and methodology

Discovery

Objective: Shared understanding of requirements. (2 hours)

Following the review session, our Solutions Consultant will be available to you for guidance and support during configuration.

·         Review business process and reports at a high-level

·         Provide direction on how to navigate through the learning material based on those requirements

Self-Guided Learning and System Configuration

The comprehensive self-guided online training series provides step by step instructional videos and reference guides to enable you to setup resources and project data into your Changepoint PPM environment.

It is expected that you will use what you learned from this training to refine the standard configuration to meet your business needs.

System Configuration Reviews

Objectives: Check points along the way to review configuration to date and provide guidance for the next configuration tier. (8 hours)

Your Delivery Consultant will schedule up to four, 2 hour remote meetings with the implementation team throughout the implementation.

·         Review with the client the completed configuration of the tier

·         Provide any recommended configuration modifications

·         Guidance leading into the next tier

·         Provide guidance to Go Live

Go Live!

Go Live is the date you will begin running your project portfolio management system. Your Delivery Consultant will lead you through a go-live readiness check list to ensure all processes are running smoothly, and the environment is properly prepared before the actual launch. Go-live should occur as shortly after training as possible while it is fresh in users’ minds.

Post go-live check up

Objective: Handoff to CSM and discuss possible future roadmap. (1 hour)

·         Three-week post go-live meeting to review adoption and roll-out success.

·         The Customer Success Manager is included in this meeting

·         Discuss potential roadmap of future requirements not addressed during initial implementation

 

Once the launch has stabilized, day-to-day technical and user support is transitioned to Changepoint’s Support Desk. The customer’s designated Customer Success Manager will remain a key contact involved and can be contacted at any time for additional software and services or issue escalation.
